About me

Creativity has always been the thread running through my life — sometimes in the form of music, sometimes art, sometimes a well-loved picture book or a chilling crime thriller. I’ve worn many hats over the years: artist, musician, childcare professional, glass artist and now full-time author. Each chapter has shaped the way I see the world and the stories I tell.

My background is rich and varied. I spent many years working in childcare, where I learned the power of imagination, play, and empathy. Those early years surrounded by children’s laughter and chaos became the seedbed for my children’s books — colourful, engaging stories designed to spark curiosity and joy in little readers. So far, I’ve published nine children’s books, with more on the horizon, including an exciting new kids' cookbook that makes food fun, creative, and confidence-building.

Art and music have always been part of my DNA. Whether it’s picking up a paintbrush or composing a tune, I’ve always found expression in the rhythm and colour of life. That artistic sensibility now weaves itself through everything I do, from vibrant picture books to atmospheric storytelling in my fiction.

In recent years, I took the leap into crime fiction — a long-held passion — and published my debut crime thriller 'The Gallery of Lies'. Gritty, emotional, and layered, it’s the first in a series that blends psychological depth with high-stakes storytelling. I'm currently working on book two in the series, and it’s darker, deeper, and more personal than ever.

With over ten books published, I'm proud of the creative path I’ve carved — one that blends the light and the shadow, the innocence of childhood and the complexity of adult life. Whether you’re here for bedtime stories specially, with your kids, creative art or thilling crime novels that keep you up at night, welcome. There’s a place for you in every story I tell.
